Puerto Villamil Beach

My husband and I had a fantastic time at the Drake Inn for our honeymoon! Carlos, Ann, & Rebekka were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful during our entire stay. They let us check in early at no extra cost and the continental breakfast was just right. The many terraces offered shade for lounging while still enjoying the stunning beach views. I highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Isabela Island!

The staff was excellent, but the room was just okay and the breakfast was below average. The beach is conveniently located near a flamingo pond. The clothes drying area was filled with mosquitos, very damp, and left clothes smelling bad. The hot tub was not heated, the jets were not working, and there were many dead insects inside.

Our stay at the Drake Inn was fantastic. Right from the beginning, Rebecca, the receptionist, was incredibly friendly, helpful, and willing to accommodate our extra requests. The hotel's prime location, just a stone's throw away from the beach and Main Street, was one of the highlights. The amenities, including AC, hot showers, Wi-Fi, beach towels, mini-fridge, and a spot to dry our bathing suits, had everything we needed. The complimentary breakfast each morning was also a nice touch.

I stayed at this beach for 5 nights and I would definitely come back. The staff were all fantastic, my room was clean and comfortable, and the hot water rain shower was excellent. The breakfast included was very good and the location is perfect - just a 5-minute walk to everything and only 50 feet from the beach.

My experience at the Drake Inn was like being in paradise. Anne and Carlos, the owners, welcomed me warmly and provided me with a lot of information about the island. The location is ideal, offering a beautiful view of the beach and the surrounding area. The local bars, restaurants, and tourist attractions are all within a short walking distance. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning, served by Ivan, who was always polite and accommodating. In the evenings, Rebecca was incredibly kind and helpful, going out of her way to assist me. Whenever I asked for advice from the owners, Anne and Carlos, they always greeted me with a smile and went above and beyond to help. I highly recommend the Drake Inn. It offers paradise at a very reasonable price.
