Malibu beach

I visited this beach for the beach club and restaurant, opting not to stay at the hotel. I typically frequent the Marina beach club, but found this place to be superior. The inflatable water park and free boat rentals were a hit with my kids. The food was delicious and more affordable compared to the Marina. It's a fantastic spot for a day at the beach with children. The entry fee was around 9 euros per adult, and lunch cost about 10 euros per person.

The rooms are extremely dirty and we had to request cleaning supplies to do it ourselves. Many amenities, such as TVs, showers, and toilets, are not functioning properly. Guests are moved to different rooms without consent, like when we booked a bungalow but were switched to a hotel room and then placed in what seemed like a staff quarters. The service is poor, and the property is in desperate need of renovation as it is falling apart. The food quality is somewhat acceptable, but the service is slow. The beach, which is the only redeeming feature of this hotel in my opinion, is heavily polluted with plastic bags and other debris dumped by ships.

The staff was friendly and the location was great, but the facilities were just average. They did provide beach chairs and parasols. However, I have to give a low rating because the beach was not clean. Guests were pulling out numerous plastic bags and other trash from the water. There was a constant flow of microplastics just offshore, which ended up sticking to our swimming gear. It seemed like the staff had made an effort to clean up, as there were bags filled with waste on the beach. But I wouldn't return until the cleanliness improves.

The rooms are extremely basic and not clean, with a significant cockroach problem (I encountered a total of 4 in the bathroom and 2 near the bed). It feels like the hotel should be renamed "Cockroach Hotel." Additionally, there were electricity issues in the morning, with visible cables outside the building, which seemed unprofessional. The only redeeming quality was the beach, which was nice, although the swim area was limited due to boats arriving near the harbor. Overall, the price of 300 tl per night did not seem justified.

This place is situated in a fantastic location with a beautiful beach and a safe swimming area. We visited the hotel a few years ago and it has definitely changed since then. Unfortunately, the upkeep is lacking, the food is subpar, and the staff seem indifferent. We observed several waiters sneaking behind the bar to drink Tequila during dinner, which was odd. The hotel could use some renovations and the staff could benefit from customer service training. It's disappointing because the location is so lovely.
