We will take you to, and return you from Košljun Island (the Monastery Island) so you can explore the history and beautiful nature of this small island! When you arrive at Košljun, in the small port, you will be greeted by it is protected as a forest park, primarily due to the forest of century-old holm oaks (Quercus ilex) There are as many as 389 plant species and 151 mushroom species on only 6 hectares. On the island, in addition to the Church of the Annunciation of Mary and the small church of St. Bernardin, there are also 3 chapels, as well as the Way of the Cross, and the Nativity chapel with the nativity scene, which was first mentioned in 1651, is especially famous.
