A fantastic beach in a "Tiny" beach town (catch the pun?). It's an excellent spot for a family beach day. The sand is nice, and the water is cool and clear. It's fun to wade around the rocky breakwall at the north end and explore the north side of the beach. On windy days, kids love playing in the waves on that side. Just across the street, you'll find restaurants and shops offering ice cream, burgers, hot dogs, French fries, and even beer for the adults 😉. Parking is limited and paid on the roads surrounding the beach, and it can be a nightmare on busy days. Be prepared to drive around waiting for a spot. It's usually better to arrive early in the morning or after 4 pm. Make sure to pay and display your ticket, as municipal bylaw officers frequently check. I'd give it 5 stars if not for the parking situation. I've heard that local residents can get a free parking pass, which might explain the limited parking. There are public washroom and change room facilities right at the beach.

This trip was truly memorable. The beach was charming and picturesque, and to our surprise, it wasn't crowded at all. We easily found a spot for our family. The washrooms were clean and there were also changing rooms available. Be aware that parking is strictly enforced, so don't forget to get a ticket, as the fine is $90. A cozy and enjoyable spot, even when it's raining. There are budget-friendly dining options and an arcade with affordable games. The beach is also accessible for wheelchairs. Balm Beach is a fantastic destination for an afternoon visit or a quick stop to enjoy the scenery.

This is a stunning and tranquil location along Georgian Bay. I took a shorter kayak trip than usual, and there were plenty of people out on their SUPs as well. It's an excellent spot to launch your kayak or boards from a charming little beach. The restaurants in Balm Beach are fantastic! I absolutely love it here!
