This beach may be hit or miss depending on your preferences. The view is stunning, and on dry days you can access it with a passenger car (as long as it's not too low). The beach has rocks, strong currents, and waves, so it's not ideal for dogs to swim unless the sea is calm. Be cautious of snakes in the vegetation behind the beach. However, if you're looking to relax and enjoy a beautiful sunset with your dog, this beach is perfect for that.

Pissouri Beach is a bit of a trek to get to, but I've made the journey four times now. My first visit was in March of 2018 and I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of crowds in the photos. I took a dip in the water and found it to be pleasantly warm compared to the chilly Pacific Ocean. I returned to the beach this past July and noticed a significant increase in the number of people. Despite this, I still find myself drawn to the beach for its beautiful hiking trails.
